Shaving my head to support Leeds Breast Cancer Haven
Breast Cancer Haven helps provide some well needed respite from the treatment side of cancer. They do an amazing job for many people who are going through a very tough time - running a marathon is the least I can do to show support - Nigel Shaw
Some of you will be aware that my brave sister was diagnosed with breast cancer last July at the age of 34. It's been a tough journey and 'The haven' are helping her through it with their services being free of charge.
As some of you know, in November my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer and has been able to benefit from the treatments The Haven in Hereford provide free of charge to help eliviate the effects chemotherapy.
As I am turning 50 this year I will be throwing myself out of an aeroplane!!!Fortunately I will have a man strapped to my back and a parachute which should safely return me to the ground.
On October 9th I've decided to strap on a parachute and jump out of a perfectly good aeroplane.
I am going to be doing a charity sky dive during Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Sunday 9th October to support a wonderful charity, Breast Cancer Haven.
I am taking part in the fashion show to raise awareness and money for the Haven in Leeds
I'm raising money for The Haven who help ladies with breast cancer.
