As a small charity, every pound donated is very gratefully received. Below are just a few examples of what your money could contribute to. Your donation, no matter how big or small is vital to keep our current service running and to help fund future Havens.

£50 - the materials needed for the monthly Creative Arts Workshop
£60 - one reflexology treatment
£100 - a Visitor to have an initial and follow up consultation with the Haven Nutritionist
£200 - three hour's counselling with a specialist Haven Counsellor
£300 - one month’s supply of fresh organic produce for the kitchen
£500 – one year’s supply of acupuncture needles
£1,000 - a Visitor to take part in the Haven Programme
£5,000 - running a weekly support group
£10,000 – funding our lymphoedema awareness and prevention programme for a year
£40,000 –providing skilled and experienced counselling for a year
£100,000 – funding for a research project into stress reduction
£200,000 – funding for a major research study into the benefits of integrated healthcare
£ 500,000 - £1 million - the building of a new Haven

Please note that these are only examples of how donations could be used. Your gift could help contribute towards many other areas of the Haven's work. If you would like to find out more, please do come and see us. Haven visits are held regularly. They take just one hour and include a full tour of the building, a presentation from the CEO and Clinical Director and a talk from a Haven Visitor. Please contact your nearest Haven for dates.
