Breast Haven Centre offers professional support and advice for anyone affected by breast cancer. The Centre provides free to use physical, practical and emotional support to those who are diagnosed with breast cancer as well as their close family across the Wessex Region.  Fundraising for the charity is spear-headed up by BBC South Today’s Sally Taylor who has herself experienced and beaten breast cancer.

The Murray Parish Trust is committed to raising funds for a new Paediatric Accident and Emergency Unit at Southampton General Hospital which would serve the entire Southern region including the Channel Islands. The Trust was founded by Alresford-based actors Sarah Parish and her husband Jim Murray, as a lasting legacy in memory of their first daughter Ella- Jayne. The Trust needs to raise £2,000,000 and when it does so the Government will match-fund that sum to ensure the total monies required for the new facility are available.
