“Breast Cancer and…” is a new webinar series brought you by Breast Cancer Haven. We have over 20 years’ experience of supporting people through their breast cancer diagnosis, treatment and beyond. We know that breast cancer is more than a disease that is treated at a hospital, it impacts every facet of your life.

These informal, informative, panel discussions will bring together Breast Cancer Haven staff and therapists with leading experts from specialist fields. We will provide information and insight into the physical, emotional and psychological factors that you may need to manage. You can take away ideas to introduce into your own self-care. These webinars will also provide information about how Breast Cancer Haven may be able to assist you and builds on our existing Live Online programme. Live Online includes phone and online one to one therapies, groups and classes.

Our inaugural webinar is “Getting Curious: Breast Cancer and Sexual Intimacy”. This important topic is often considered taboo and sometimes overlooked. At this event we will have an honest and friendly discussion covering a range of issues, from a practical understanding what is happening to your body as a side effect of treatment, how surgery can impact your feelings of self-confidence and sexual appeal and how you could work with a current or future partner to achieve the kind of sexual intimacy you want.
