Mindfulness mediation Mindfulness helps embrace moments of uncertainty and fear in our lives. It is a practice of being present, awake and alert, alive and attentive. It helps us develop more stability and a greater capacity to accept ourselves and our lives just as they are. Something very powerful happens when we slow down and start being fully present in our lives. During the Mindfulness session, we will connect with the body, heart and mind in the present moment. Offering ourselves kindness, we can begin to change our relationship to stress and worry that might be here. Being fully in the present moment can help us to loosen our grip on anxious thoughts about what is happening in our lives, which in turn can support relaxation and a sense of wellbeing. No experience necessary, just comfy clothes;and feel free to bring a pillow and a blanket.
