Qi Gong and Tai Chi Qi Gong and Tai Chi can be helpful with recovering from the side-effects of breast cancer treatment including immobility and fatigue. It can also be helpful with lowering stress levels.Like acupuncture, Qi Gong and Tai Chi are drawn from ancient Chinese medical traditions. They combine graceful and gentle physical movements with relaxation, meditation and breathing exercises to help balance the flow of energy or ‘chi’ through the body.Both of these forms of physical and mental exercise encourage you to bring focused attention to your movements and your breath in the present moment. These can also be done seated.
