Qi Gong  can be helpful with recovering from the side-effects of breast cancer treatment including immobility and fatigue. It can also be helpful with lowering stress levels.

Like acupuncture, Qi Gong is drawn from ancient Chinese medical traditions. It combines graceful and gentle physical movements with relaxation, meditation and breathing exercises to help balance the flow of energy or ‘chi’ through the body.

This form of physical and mental exercise encourage you to bring focused attention to your movements and your breath in the present moment. It can also be done seated. This means it is the perfect type of exercise if you are feeling tired or have physical limitations.

Regular practice of Qi Gong may be beneficial to your health by lowering stress levels, improving flexibility, increasing stamina, promoting activity and improving both emotional and physical wellbeing.
