Run, skip, bake, knit, scoot or sing - on Sunday 26 April, join Team Haven and take part in one of the biggest fundraising days of the year by taking on The 2.6 Challenge.

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a catastrophic effect on UK charities with the cancellation of thousands of events and the loss of billions in income through fundraising events. The 2.6 Challenge is a new fundraising initiative set up in the face of the coronavirus crisis to help save UK charities – and we need you to join Team Haven.

How do I get involved?

Sign up join the challenge via JustGiving.

On 26 April, join people around the nation and take on a challenge that involves the number 2.6 or 26.  Anything goes, just think of an activity and get sponsored for doing it. This is a challenge for all ages and abilities and you can do it from the safety of your own home or immediate local area (please follow the guidelines from the Government in practicing in social distancing on how to exercise safely during this time.)

You could:

  • Walk or run 2.6 miles
  • Hop, skip or jump for 26 minutes
  • Do 26 minutes of yoga
  • Do a treasure hunt for 26 items in 26 minutes with your kids
  • Host a virtual quiz with 26 teams

Once you’ve done yours, why not nominate someone else to take on The 2.6 Challenge.

Be sure to share pictures or videos of your challenge on social media using the official hashtag #TwoPointSixChallenge

So, go on, join Team Haven and start planning your 2.6 inspired challenge today.

We need your help now, more than ever to make sure that we are still here for the people who need us now, and in the future.

Over the last few weeks, we have received many calls from people who are anxious about treatment options, are apart from loved ones, and who are quite frankly scared about their future. With access to many NHS services stopped, our support is now a vital lifeline for many vulnerable and isolated people.

We are determined to keep this lifeline going, but we can’t do it without you.

The most important thing for us at Breast Cancer Haven is that we can continue to support people going through the toughest time of their lives. No matter what, we have to make sure that we are still here for the people who need us now, and in the future.

We need your help.
