About us Who we are Our people in Hereford Rose Farrington – Corporate Fundraiser Rose is an experienced charity fundraiser with a background in marketing and communications management within the charity sector. Rose grew up in Herefordshire and is keen to share her passion for the work of Breast Cancer Haven with local communities and organisations to ensure that the amazing work can continue to benefit the local community. Juliette Best – Nurse/TherapistJuliette has worked extensively in the community as a District Nurse caring for many people with breast cancer. She has always used a holistic approach in her nursing and therapy work. In 2007, Juliette gained a BSc (Hons) in Complementary Therapies specialising in holistic and clinical aromatherapy. Juliette has worked at Breast Cancer Haven since 2007 both as a nurse and a therapist; carrying out first consultations, support planning , answering clinical enquiries and carrying out visitor reviews. Juliette is also qualified in massage and indian head massage. Wendy Daykin – Front Desk ManagerWendy moved to Herefordshire in 2010, started volunteer fundraising for Breast Cancer Haven in 2012 and joined the Front Desk Team in 2013. She has a background in banking and finance and works on Front Desk on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings and on Thursday she assists the clinical team with administration. Nicola Rowland – Front Desk AdministratorNicola comes to Breast Cancer Haven with a varied background of bookselling, conservation and PA/care work. She also has a degree in Textile Design.Her involvement with the Haven started as a volunteer and she is now delighted to be a part of the team. Nicola works Wednesday afternoons and all day Thursday and Friday. Di Emmett - Centre Manager Di has worked as a nurse for over 20 years and has been working at Hereford County Hospital for a number of years as a specialist breast care nurse providing holistic support to patients and their families. She has been with Breast Cancer Haven since the beginning of the year as a breast care nurse and is now delighted to be appointed as centre manager for the charity.
