We are busy at work getting our new London centre ready for business. The COVID-19 pandemic unfortunately meant that construction work on the building was temporarily halted to comply with Government advice.

We’re pleased to say that work is now once again underway, and the appropriate modifications have been to ensure the safety of everyone working on the site.

With the delay to construction caused by the pandemic, we now expect the centre to officially open in May 2021.

The building was originally built as a theatre in 1830 and, as contractors complete the soft strip of the building, more and more of the original features are being discovered. It looks like it will be a very special home for Breast Cancer Haven, London.

Our new centrally-located centre will offer free, personalised services, addressing the emotional and physical side-effects of breast cancer treatment, in a safe, welcoming and homely environment. The new centre will be located on Birkenhead Street in central London, within one minute’s walk from King’s Cross station, making it accessible to patients from 15 hospitals across the capital.

The relocation of our London based services has been made possible by the generous donations of several funders, including significant financial support from Future Dreams.
