Everybody is different. That’s why we tailor your care to your particular situation and concerns.
The first thing you do here at Breast Cancer Haven is to meet with one of our health care professionals. You will discuss your situation, medical treatment, particular concerns and discuss the therapies and services that will be most beneficial to you. Together, you will work out the best possible support plan for you.
Our core programme of one-to-one services we provide at Breast Cancer Haven are free of charge. There are a small selection of our services, however, that you will need to pay for. Discover which of our treatments are free and which need to be paid for.
We provide up to ten hours of free therapies and two hours with a health care professional, over a time-frame that suits you. The list below tell you about some of therapies that we offer but each Breast Cancer Haven is slightly different.
After this initial meeting, we write to your hospital medical consultant and GP detailing your support plan so that you can be rest-assured that everyone is working together to help you.
Once registered with us, you can book your appointments through our front desk team or over the phone. Your health care professional is available throughout, to check that everything is going well and make any necessary changes to your support plan.In addition to your ten one-to-one sessions you can come to talks, classes, courses and drop-ins sessions. Some have a charge to cover our costs and some are free. Take a look at 'What's on' to see what is available at your nearest Breast Cancer Haven.
