After strutting my stuff down the catwalk for Breast Cancer Haven for the past 2 years I thought I would do something a bit more daring! I am ticking skydive off my bucket list whilst raising money for one of my favourite charities dear to my heart. I am funding the skydive myself so all money raised will go straight to Breast Cancer Haven Leeds
After losing my dear Mum to Breast Cancer in 2013 (I also lost my wonderful Auntie Christine to this cruel disease in 2002), I was then diagnosed myself in 2014. I was going through a divorce with 2 young children, Olivia was only 8 and Isabella 2. I had just fallen in love and met my soulmate, Alan, who is now my husband of 12 months. How cruel could life be when life was just turning a corner?

I had 12 months of gruelling treatment and operations....and several more since.

I hope now there is light at the end of the tunnel, unfortunately some friends along the way haven’t been so lucky and lost their fight against this frightening disease.
So this is in memory of them.

I cannot thank the Haven enough for their support then and even now. I find the Haven a safe, secure place to go where you can really share your feelings and talk to others going through the breast cancer journey. The treatments they offer are wonderful and help you through those hard times.
So please contribute as much as you can and help me raise a lot of money for this incredible charity.
