Hina Ismail Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As some of you reading this might be aware that I lost my Nani (grandmother) to breast cancer years ago. My Nani was a truly wonderful and inspirational person who touched so many of our lives with her warmth, enthusiasm and relentless love for life. I count myself exceptionally lucky to have had her in my life. 18 years ago, when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, she did not have facilities such as Breast Cancer Haven to support her during her illness, as a result she and my Mum went through the toughest time in their lives alone.

Coinciding with this I am going to be skydiving to raise awareness and support Breast Cancer Haven; I would love to use this opportunity to raise funds for the charity that is very close to my family and I. It would mean so much to me if you could donate (even the smallest amount) and help me raise some money.

None of us know, when or who this terrible disease will target but I know that charities like Breast Cancer Haven can provide a huge amount of support and comfort to those who are going through it.

This charity provides vital support to people undergoing breast cancer treatment, through counselling and therapies tailored to the individual. The service ranges from emotional support to advice on the practical difficulties associated with breast cancer treatment, such as money and work, healthy eating and exercise, exhaustion and nausea.

Breast Cancer Haven employs professional nurses, therapists, councillors and advisors to listen to the individual concerns of people undergoing breast cancer treatment to deliver a personalised programme of support. This support is entirely free for the user, but it costs the charity around £1000 to provide the full programme to each visitor. Breast Cancer Haven is entirely funded by charitable donations and various fundraising events like this jump. I therefore ask you to give generously.

Thank you so much for your support. Hina Ismail
