Fiona Hopkins Dear All,

I am going to be modelling Next clothing at a fund-raising event for the Breast Care Haven who were amazing after my mastectomy. I haven’t been before but apparently there are lots of Christmas stalls and it is a said to be a lovely evening.

It is £10 a ticket and at the Ageas Bowl on Thursday 22nd November so if you can I/they would be very grateful of your support. The address is Ageas Bowl, Botley Road, West End, Southampton SO30 3XH and starts at 7pm and all over by 10pm.

If you are not able to come but would be kind enough to donate to this fabulously supportive charity please click on the following link to my just giving page, any amount would be very gratefully received.

Following a mastectomy for breast cancer in 2016 – Breast Cancer Haven really was a safe haven for me, I found the massage of my scar and help with the lymphoedema in my arm hugely beneficial along with dietary advice and pilates classes. It has such a welcoming atmosphere and supportive place when feeling so vulnerable.

They offer advice on practical things like money and work, help combatting stress, exhaustion and nausea, advice on healthy eating and exercise. And above all, there is always be someone to talk to about ones deepest fears.

Their trained professional nurses, therapists, counsellors and advisers listen to individual concerns and give all the practical, emotional and physical support needed in a tailor-made package.

Their support is free of charge and available in their beautiful Breast Cancer Haven centres – which are as far away from a hospital environment as you can imagine.

Each visitor to Breast Cancer Haven can expect to receive up to ten free hours' of supportive therapy time. In addition, one will also receive two hours' of nurse specialist time at the beginning and end of each tailored programme.
Many thanks

Fiona xx
