Sally Benatar In September, I’m cycling the 134 mile coast to coast route from Whitehaven to Tynemouth, together with six friends. I’m doing this to raise money for the Breast Cancer Haven, the charity that supports women affected by breast cancer through a free tailored programme of practical, physical and emotional support.

The support I received from the Haven, in addition to the clinical treatment and care I received at the Royal Marsden, is the reason I have recovered so well after my cancer treatment earlier this year. I’m now back at work and feeling positive about a cancer free future and I want to help people like me get the support they need to fully recover.

The Haven is a charity and relies solely on donations to continue its work.

Any donation, however small, will be greatly appreciated and will also motivate me and my six friends to keep pedalling up the many hills on our route. Thank you very much for your support! Sally Benatar
