Jane Williams

As most of you know, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008 when Anna was just 9 (and Tom only 12), which was an incredibly hard time for us all. I went through the brutality of major surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and am about to come off a 10 year course of Tamoxifen, so by the time of the show on 31st May will be treatment free!
I found out about the Haven from my chemo nurse. I'd never heard of them before but went along straight away as the chemo was taking its toll on me. The support I received was incredible and I give them the full credit for 'putting me back together' after the fantastic NHS had done what they needed to do. I have no doubt that the Haven gave me back to my family in a much more healed state than would have been possible otherwise.
I volunteered to be a Blossom model because this wretched disease has definitely impacted my body and I literally have battle scars BUT I am so grateful to be alive and able to live life to the full that I want to share that joy by raising as much as I can (with Anna of course!) for this very worthy cause to enable more Haven visitors to be helped. I do hope you feel able to support us.
Thank you so much from Jane, Anna and the Haven xxx
