Theresa Oldroyd My teenage daughter, Isobel, managed to smash the three peak challenge!

Isobel is a typical teenage, walking the mile into town is an ordeal, so for her to actually want to do this is pretty spectacular.

The three peaks threw everything at her, perfect start, nice and cloudy, a little sun, the wind, cold, and the fog and lots of rain, making it very slippy underfoot!

Isobel, once she woke up (as we traveled up that morning) so up at 5am! She was incredible, so driven and so positive.

We didn't manage to start until 8am, it was a charity day and there were thousands ahead of us. It was amazing that so many people turned out, however, the swarms made climbing very slow and there were queues to get over the stiles, Isobel was patient and kind throughout!

Isobel's time was 10hrs 55 mins, at least an hour of that was food breaks.
........then there was all the waiting around!!

I am so very proud of Isobel, she was truly one amazing and driven lady!

I might even persuade her to do it again.

Please do your bit and sponsor this amazing charity! xx Theresa Oldroyd
