In April 2017 I had surgery on my knee for the second time and was told by the Consultant that my running days were over (not that they had ever really started...) At 30 years old, prime age for a professional footballer (yes I just compared myself to a professional footballer), I felt it was too soon to throw the towel in and got to work...

I set myself the goal of completing the Leeds 10k and after months of early morning gym sessions, I have now signed up and am determined to get round even if I have to crawl over the finish line.

For those who know me, you'll be aware that I have been involved with Breast Cancer Haven since 2009 and that it's a cause I am very passionate about. Through my role at this amazing charity I am determined to help Breast Cancer Haven be as successful as possible to ensure we are able to continue to support the many women, men and their families who are dealing with the impact of breast cancer.

Any contribution you could make would be just lovely and very much appreciated x
