The Haven receives £2.65M to fund support and expansion

Breast Cancer Haven, has been awarded an invaluable £2.65M donation, The Chancellor announced the move as part of the Autumn Statement today. The funding will lead to the creation of a new Haven centre in Solihull to provide the care and support needed in the region and fund running costs in the newly opened Breast Cancer Haven, Wessex.

The Haven hosts Breast Cancer Support Day in Abergavenny to raise awareness of complementary services

On Wednesday 7th October - at Monmouthshire Golf Club, Llanfoist - national breast cancer support charity, The Haven, will host an outreach day in Abergavenny to promote the care services available. Commutable from Wales, the West Midlands and the West Country, the aim of the outreach day is to raise awareness of the tailored care and support that can be found at The Hereford Haven.

The Leeds Haven receives £75,000 donation from St. James’s Place Foundation

National breast cancer support charity, The Haven, has been awarded a £75,000 donation from St James’s Place Foundation, to fund the care and support programmes accessed by their Yorkshire service users.

Hampshire garden designer Sarah Eberle gets to work on recreating her multi-award-winning RHS Chelsea Breast Cancer Haven Garden

In May this year, RHS multi-award-winning Hampshire garden designer, Sarah Eberle, took on a new challenge – to design her first charity and artisan garden at the Chelsea Flower Show for national breast cancer support charity, The Haven. The challenge paid off, with Sarah successfully scooping both Gold and the People’s Choice Award for her efforts. This week, Sarah will start to recreate the Breast Cancer Haven Garden at the new Wessex Haven in Titchfield, Hampshire.  

Multi-award winning designer Sarah Eberle achieves GOLD for the Breast Cancer Haven Garden at RHS Chelsea Flower Show

This year, RHS multi-award-winning garden designer, Sarah Eberle, took on a new challenge – to design her first charity and artisan garden at Chelsea Flower Show for national breast cancer support charity, The Haven. The challenge paid off, with Sarah successfully scooping GOLD this morning (Tuesday 19th May) for the Breast Cancer Haven Garden. Sarah also achieved Gold for her Fresh garden – Beyond our Borders - making her the first garden designer in the Shows 102 year history to take two Gold awards for two separate gardens at the same show.
