Breast Cancer Haven is a dynamic and growing organisation committed to providing the best possible help to people affected by breast cancer.

We currently employ over 50 permanent members of staff across our five Havens who specialise in clinical support, fundraising, marketing & communications and administration.  Our sixth Breast Cancer Haven will be opening it's doors to visitors in the West Midlands in October 2017.  We also employ over 70 professional, freelance therapists. Working for us can be both challenging and extremely rewarding. 

We are currently recruiting for the following vacancies

 Information & Support Nurse (P/T) West Midlands, Solihull

up to £18,000 pa depending on skills and experience  (£30,000 FTE)

3 days per week to be agreed

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse or other registered health care professional with experience of working with people in a cancer environment to join a new team at our new West Midlands Breast Cancer Haven.

The new West Midlands Breast Cancer Haven will be opening it's doors to visitors in October 2017 where we will be able to offer our visitors support away from a hospital environment. We provide a comforting environment where visitors can benefit from the support of welcoming staff and from meeting with others going through similar experiences. You will  provide our Visitors with individual support, information and contribute to our programme of Breast Cancer Haven outreach.

You will work alongside a team of experienced health professionals and complementary therapists to support the needs of our Visitors. You will meet with our visitors on a one to one basis to offer support and together to agree an individual treatment plan tailored to each individual visitor. In addition you will also support the Breast Cancer Haven Manager in raising awareness of our services in the area with other health care providers and the wider community.

Front Desk Manager - West Midlands £25,000pa

We will be opening our doors to visitors in October 2017. The role of Front Desk Manager will be key to ensuring our visitors receive the best possible service when they first step in the door and ensuring the West Midlands support functions run as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

You will be responsible for managing the front desk team and supporting the Breast Cancer Haven Manager who is responsible for running the West Midlands Breast Cancer Haven. This is an exciting time to join a new team and help make a real difference.

Community & Events Fundraiser  - West Midlands, Solihull (Full or Part-time will be considered)

up to £25,000 pa (pro rata if part time) depending on skills and experience.

Our new West Midlands Breast Cancer Haven will be opening it's doors to visitors in October 2017. This is a great  opportunity to join a new team  to help ensure we maximise income and  increase awareness of Breast Cancer Haven - West Midlands in the local area, establishing new relationships in the Community including setting up and running events.  You will have at least two years experience either working in a fundraising or sales environment with experience of organising and managing events.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered nurse or other registered health care professional with an interest in cancer support to provide our Visitors with support, information and to contribute to our programme of Breast Cancer Haven outreach. We provide outreach to communities in the area who may find it difficult to reach our Breast Cancer Haven in Wessex.

You will work alongside a team of experienced health professionals and complementary therapists to support the needs of our Visitors affected by breast cancer. You will support The Breast Cancer Haven Macmillan Manager in raising awareness of our services in the area with other health care providers and the wider community.

Special Events Manager - London, up to £28,000

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative individual to join our successful fundraising team in London, responsible for initiating, planning and executing a series of special events in aid of Breast Cancer Haven. As well as delivering our already well established events such our Annual Carol Service, Celebrity Quiz and Blush fundraiser you will also be responsible for identifying and developing new fundraising opportunities.

Specific volunteer projects
Our fundraising, communications and operations teams are small but achieve great things. We are keen to hear from anyone with specific skills and experience that would make a real difference to the charity.
