Breast Cancer Haven is a dynamic and growing organisation committed to providing the best possible help to people affected by breast cancer.

We currently employ over 60 permanent members of staff across our five Havens who specialise in clinical support, fundraising, marketing & communications and administration.  Our sixth Breast Cancer Haven will be opening it's doors to visitors in the West Midlands in October 2017.  We also employ over 70 professional, freelance therapists. Working for us can be both challenging and extremely rewarding.

We are currently recruiting for the following vacancies

Information & Support Nurse (P/T) Hereford & Worcester

up to £18,000 pa depending on skills and experience  (£30,000 FTE)

3 days per week to be agreed

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered nurse or other registered health care professional with experience of working with people in a cancer environment to join our Hereford & Worcester Breast Cancer Haven.

We are able to offer our visitors support away from a hospital environment. We provide a comforting environment where visitors can benefit from the support of welcoming staff and from meeting with others going through similar experiences. You will  provide our Visitors with individual support, information and contribute to our programme of Breast Cancer Haven outreach.

You will work alongside a team of experienced health professionals and complementary therapists to support the needs of our Visitors. You will meet with our visitors on a one to one basis to offer support and together to agree an individual treatment plan tailored to each individual visitor. In addition you will also support the Breast Cancer Haven Manager in raising awareness of our services in the area with other health care providers and the wider community.
