Breast Cancer Haven is a dynamic and growing organisation committed to providing the best possible help to people affected by breast cancer.

We currently employ over 60 permanent members of staff across our five Havens who specialise in clinical support, fundraising, marketing & communications and administration.  Our sixth Breast Cancer Haven will be opening it's doors to visitors in the West Midlands in October 2017.  We also employ over 70 professional, freelance therapists. Committed Giving and Legacies Senior Officer - HQ (London)

Breast Cancer Haven are looking for a talented and ambitious individual to help shape and grow our committed giving supporter base and pledged legacy income through targeted and creative campaigns and stakeholder management as part of our central fundraising team.

We are at an important stage of our evolution and are expanding to meet the growing needs of breast cancer patients around the country. We currently run 5 centres across the UK and will be opening our sixth this October in the West Midlands. The committed giving programme is essential to supporting core operational costs, future expansion and service development. 

We are looking for an experienced fundraiser who has managed Committed Giving campaigns from start to finish over a range of channels (direct marketing, telemarketing and digital). Working closely with the Head of Relationships, you will use this knowledge and skills to deliver successful integrated committed giving campaigns; to identify, influence, steer and deliver new committed giving strategies; monitor budgets and forecast income and expenditure.

To succeed in this role you will need an impeccable eye for detail, be an exceptional communicator and a self-starter.

Front Desk Administrator - Hereford, P/T (Mon, Tues & Wed)

The role of Front Desk Administrator will be key to ensuring our visitors receive the best possible welcome/service when they first step in the door and ensuring the Hereford & Worcester support functions run as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

You will be responsible for  welcoming visitors to our centre, making them feel comfortable and ensuring a seamless front of  house service, as well as ensuring there is an efficient and effective administrative support function for the whole team. Duties will vary from booking appointments, updating our website, ensuring therapy rooms are set up for the day to providing an efficient administrative service. You will have excelllent organisational, IT & administrative skills. This is an exciting time to join a new team and help make a real difference.

Events Fundraising Officer - Wessex   £23,000

We are seeking a enthusiastic and creative individual with at least two years’ experience working in a fundraising or events environment. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate good event management, administration and excellent supporter care experience, experience of working in community fundraising, as well as some experience of working in a busy supporter facing environment. You should be prepared to work at a fast pace and able to prioritise you own work load. 

Reporting to the Wessex Fundraising Manager you will be responsible for developing existing and building new relationships with local venues and suppliers and engaging with donors in order to encourage them to attend new and established events, raising the Charity's profile and maximising income from new sources.

Corporate Fundraising Officer - Wessex   £23,000

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative individual with at least two years’ experience working in a fundraising environment to join Breast Cancer Haven’s fundraising team to raise funds from companies within Wessex, through activities including staff fundraising, payroll giving, sponsorship, cause-related marketing and Charity-of-the-Year schemes, as well as volunteering and Gifts in Kind.

You will conduct extensive prospect research to identify suitable target organisations and key influencers within corporate organisations and must be confident in delivering formal presentations and talks to corporate organisations. 

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate good relationship and event management, well honed administrative skills and excellent supporter care experience, as well as some experience of working in a busy supporter facing environment. You should be prepared to work at a fast pace and able to prioritise your own work load.
